Oliver Old is part of a collaborative research team with partners from the University of Exeter who have been awarded a major research grant from Cancer Research UK.
The award is for research into Early Detection and Diagnosis of oesophageal cancer. The team consists of Dr Palombo and Prof. Stone in Exeter, working with Mr Old and Prof. Shepherd from Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust.
The programme of research will begin in 2022.
